Ejidike calls for sober reflections during Easter celebrations

The whole world is in a total lockdown due to the rampaging coronavirus pandemic. Yet, the christian folks would be eager to mark the Easter Sunday and Monday celebrations, albeit in subdued manner.

In reaction to the religious holidays, Nigeria’s Pillar of Sports, High Chief Donatus Agu- Ejidike, JP, has cautioned sports lovers and tge general public to thread carefully at this period, in view of the global health scourge.

According to a message released by the National Office of the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, the successful businessman cum philanthropist, lamented the inactivity of sporting activities across the world. As he described the ravaging pandemic a time for sober reflections.

Ejidike advised members of the public to obey and adhere strictly to the health orders of the government. Adding that it is advisable and wise to stay indoors and obey the social distancing directives.

While remarking that Nigerians are renowned as a powerful praying and religious people, he went on to admonished all Nigerians to seize the lockdown period and lessons of the ravaging pandemic to move closer to God and pray for a better world.
