Egypt 2023 : Nigeria’s Hope Igho For Congo, Uganda Game

One of the international referees from Nigeria, Hope Igho, invited to be part of the officials from the continent, will today, join others to handle the Congo vs Uganda match, in one of the preliminary matches of the U-20 AFCON in Egypt.

Igho, a member of the Lagos State Referees Council is the Assistant Referee 1 in the game that will see Lamine Jameeh of Gambia as the Referee.
While Tunisian Mohammed Bakir is the Assistant Referee 2, Omar Abdulkadir Artan of Somalia is the fourth official.

It would be recalled that after passing medical and physical fitness tests including undergoing field and class works heralding the Championship in Egypt, Igho was among the match officials listed for the final showdown.
