Egbuchulam Dumps Norway For $1.2m Asian Deal

Former Rangers International of Enugu dazzler, Chissom Egbuchulam has sensationally dumped Falkenbergs FF of Sweden for a deal worth $1.2m in Asia.

Sports247.ng gathered that Egbuchulam took the decision just to spite the management of Falkenbergs, who refused to sanction a transfer he wanted to top flight Swedish side, IFK Goteborg.

Rather than opt to remain with the recently promoted Falkenbergs for another season, Egbuchulam opted to avoid a contract extension with the Scandinavian side and took the next flight out to Asia.

The 26-year-old makes the move to Asia as a free agent, as his contract with Falkenbergs FF ended with the 2018 season.

Falkenbergs offered him a two-year extension, but Egbuchulam had already made up his mind to leave.

After initially waiting for Goteborg to make an official approach for him, which was eventually not forthcoming, Egbuchulam opted for a two-year deal in Asia, which will earn him $1.2m until 2021.
