Efe Ajagba Dares Every Rival In World Boxing’s Heavyweight Top-10

Nigerian heavyweight boxer, Efe Ajagba has sent out a bold challenge to all of his rivals in the world’s top-10, with a declaration that he is ready to take on any of them who dares to come up against him.

Sports247 reports that Ajagba was blowing hot after winning at USA’s Meta Apex in Las Vegas, where he got a fourth-round technical knock-out victory over former IBF heavyweight champion, Charles Martin.

Ajagba’s win was part of the night’s huge statistics on the cards of Zuffa Boxing 3 Promotions, as his victory was one of six out of eight fights that ended inside the distance, including all three of the main card bouts.

The night’s action was capped off by Ajagba’s huge recovery, as he was rattled a lot by Martin, who boxed well through the first two rounds on the back foot and behind his southpaw jab.

However, Ajagba proved in Round 3 that takes just one sucker punch to make a world of difference, as he floored Martin with a right hand, just seconds after the challenger landed his best punch with his left hand and shook the Nigerian.

Ajagba then floored Martin, who rose to his feet gingerly, but was bullied around the ring by the Nigerian for the remainder of Round 3 and a pair of crushing rights put him back on the canvas early in Round 4.

Martin was warned by the referee, Thomas Taylor and Ajagba continued to drive his opponent back with right hand jabs and was badging down on him repeatedly, which made the ref stop the fight seconds later.

Ajagba said afterwards, “I didn’t feel his power, but he has a lot of experience. I did expect that. He was very sharp. I’m ready for everyone in the top 10, but nobody’s mentioning (me or ) calling my name. I’m already top 10, I’m ready to go.”
