Edozie Hails Special Moment After Dramatic Equaliser Against Arsenal

Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Tom Edozie has described his late equaliser against Arsenal as a moment he will never forget, after helping Wolverhampton Wanderers secure a thrilling 2–2 draw.

The 19-year-old, who is eligible to represent Nigeria, admitted he struggled to put his emotions into words after scoring such a crucial goal against the league leaders.

“I honestly can’t describe how I felt when the ball went in,” Edozie said. “It was a special moment for me and something I’ll always remember.”

Edozie praised the collective effort of the team, stressing that the equaliser was a reward for Wolves’ persistence and hard work throughout the game.

“We never stopped believing,” he added. “Everyone kept pushing, even when things were tough, and that shows the character of this team.”

The youngster also urged his teammates to build on the result as Wolves continue their battle in the league.

“This result should give us confidence,” he concluded. “If we keep working hard and believing in ourselves, we can keep pushing forward.”
