Ebi Egbe Charges Nigeria Teams On Humanitarian Gesture As A Viable Tool Of Attracting Sponsorships

Award-winning and the best pitchman in Nigeria, Ebi Egbe, well known as Monimichelle has commended Manchester United’s humanitarian gesture as the club revealed that they will be providing 5,000 free school meals during the October half-term holidays.

Egbe has now called on Nigeria Premier League teams to starting thinking of the same idea, as with this, our football will get more sponsorship and see our football as a business in terms of revenue generation and economy boost.

The English Premier League (EPL) club side said this was to help forward Marcus Rashford’s campaign to end child food poverty in the UK as the explosive forward campaigned for the government to provide food vouchers during school holidays to children who normally receive free meals during term time if their parents receive welfare support.

Dozens of local organisations all over the country came forward last week to supply free school meals in response to the 22-year-old’s plea on social media. Now, working together with the charity FareShare, meals will be prepared and packaged individually at Old Trafford by club staff before being shipped to local Manchester United Foundation partner schools.

Six local schools will receive the meals while others will be delivered to local charities.

He further enjoined that such act as this will not only increase the nation’s Gross Domestic Profit (GDP), it will relatively build its global recognition in terms of humanitarian devices globally hence the need to give it more attention.
