Arsenal of England midfielder, Eberechi Eze could be heading for a new role that would keep him relevant with The Gunners, following his superb display in Sunday’s FA Cup victory over Wigan Athletic.
Sports247 reports that, in contrast with recent negative comments trailing him, the Nigerian-born England international returned to his very best against The Latics and got two assists to the bargain.

His performance in that game has now set Eze up for a return to relevance at Emirates Stadium, especially after the former Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace dazzler twinkled in a new role.
Eze excelled on the night, as The Gunners romped home four goals, all of which came before the half-hour, that quickly put the contest to bed and their coach, Mikel Arteta had the chance to experiment.
With potentially slippery games versus Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur coming up this week, Eze has shot back into the spotlight and Arsenal fans are looking up to more heroics from him.
A survey by UK’s Daily Mail noted in part, “Eze showed the class and, most importantly, character of a man ready to prove himself. He set up Arsenal’s first two goals with two stunning through balls.
“The first from the halfway line that took out four Wigan defenders to find Noni Madueke, the second tucked down the left channel for Gabriel Martinelli to race through and make no mistake.
“By the time he skipped past two defenders and rifled a shot into the side netting in the second half, he was moving with the bounce and zip of a player finding his groove again.”
