Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba says he is going to invite Dutch-Nigerian teen prospect Lateef Omidiji Junior to his squad for the World Cup in Brazil despite dropping him for the recently concluded Africa U17 Cup of Nations.
The Eaglets finished fourth at the tournament held in Tanzania to book a place at the U17 World Youth Championship which will be taking place in Brazil and plans to overhaul the squad has been revealed by coach Manu Garba.
In a chat with Sports247, Garba said Omidiji Junior and others who were unfortunate to miss out on selection for the Africa U17 Championship will be considered when camping resumes for the World Youth Championship.
