Middlesbrough of England attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho has disclosed that all players in the Super Eagles have pledged to support one another in order to qualify for next year’s FIFA World Cup, Sports247 reports.
Speaking against the backdrop of speculation rising in some circles about generation cliques emerging in the Nigerian national team, Iheanacho declared emphatically that they are all united towards a common qualification target.

The 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup gold medalist and most valuable player, who previously played for Columbus Crew of USA as well as Manchester City and Leicester City of England, insisted there are no factions in the Eagles.
The product of Taye Football Academy of Owerri, who is currently on loan at Middlesbrough from Sevilla of Spain, stressed that all players in the Eagles have resolved to work together as a united squad to make the World Cup ticket a reality.
“We are always together. It doesn’t matter whether we are based in different countries. We are always together, and we pledge to support each other. So, hopefully, the World Cup ticket will still be possible,” Iheanacho enthused.
