KG Sports Academy Director Coach Ken Gadaffi has been appointed Head Coach of IKA South Team ahead of the Inaugural Edition of the IKA VILLAGE SQUARE FOOTBALL Tournament.
Dr. Ken Gadaffi along with 6 others will manage the team as they compete for honors along with IKA North East and Igbaken.
Others include Coach Elvis Ezeki of Ihuyase FC, Coach Samuel Okonkwo of KG Sports Academy, Coach Donald of Apex Screen. Pastor Timothy will serve as the team manager while Ms. Praisy Oliseh will serve as the admin officer.
35 Players have been invited to camp selected from Clubs and academies within Ekuku Agbor, Ozah, Agbor Obi, Alihamen, Ewuru, Abavo, and Oki.
Speaking after the Official handover of team Jerseys by the Chairman of the Tournament organizing Committee Mr. Joe Morgan, Head Coach of IKA South Team Dr. Ken Gadaffi expressed optimism that his team will put up a good Representation despite the short notice to commencement of the Tournament.
“We hope to present a formidable team, although the tournament is starting at very short notice we have players on the ground ready to face the challenge and do Ika South Proud.” Dr. Gadaffi Stated.
