Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka (Zulu Authority), Senior Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development and Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for the 14th African Armwrestling Championship, offered resounding praise to Team Nigeria.
While Adeboye was anchored in Abuja overseeing an extraordinary armwrestling tournament — where Nigeria dominated with 28 gold, 35 silver, and 38 bronze medals with 833 points in the both Left & Right -Hand category — he followed live the thrilling WAFCON 2024 final in Rabat, where the Super Falcons pulled off an extraordinary comeback.

Trailing 2–0 in the first half behind goals from Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy, Nigeria staged a stunning turnaround, with Esther Okoronkwo converting a penalty and providing two assists, and substitute Jennifer Echegini netting the dramatic 88th‑minute winner to seal a 3–2 victory and secure Nigeria’s record 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title .
In a heartfelt message, Adeboye expressed overwhelming pride:
