A strong hint in this direction was provided by Spurs’ coach, Thomas Frank, who confirmed that Solanke could return from injury by the end of the month after the striker was pictured in training this week.
Solanke has been out with a recurring ankle injury, but Frank enthused that the 28-year-old star will soon be back playing for the team.
The gaffer’s enthusiasm came after Solanke was pictured training with the club’s first team in a video posted on their social media channels.
Frank said there was a possibility Solanke could be available for selection in January, adding: “That is positive, no doubt about that. He is out there on the pitch and part-trained with the group.”
