Prince stated that character and right attitude building has been neglected by some coaches and football administrators but without it, even if one labors so much on a talented player, the work might amount to nothing in the end.

“It’s all about structure and plans which we have for them, we develop them to a professional standard and we give them exposure for them to prove themselves to the world while also building their character”, he told Sports247.ng.

“Beyond football, we talk to them from time to time, tactical evaluations and opening their knowledge to what’s necessary and after that, we discipline them because, without it, they can’t play professionally.”

“We are building them for the national and international platform but most especially the European focus because there’s a standard on that and we are building them for it all around”.

Prince who is also the coach of the team, serving in a dual capacity has an NIS certificate where he studied management in coaching alongside running a laundry space and also ministry on the side.

“Earlier it wasn’t easy merging all these together but I have found my way around it, I have a dream and I work with everything at my disposal to achieve the dream.”

“We have some players that will leave soon hopefully to the next stage of thier career and this is all we always hope for as a coach when a player progresses, we will focus on the ones left within the group as we continue to build them,” he concluded.
