Dimitar Pantev Arrives in Dar es Salaam to Begin Simba SC Job

Dar es Salaam — Simba Sports Club’s new head coach, Dimitar Pantev, has arrived in Dar es Salaam ready to begin his two-year tenure with the Tanzanian giants.

Pantev, who guided Gaborone United of Botswana to the league title last season, landed today accompanied by his assistant coach Simeonov Boyko and their agent Bakang Moipone.

Club spokesman Ahmed Ally confirmed the Bulgarian tactician will hold a brief meeting with senior management in the evening before officially starting work on Monday.

“Our new coach Pantev and his assistant have arrived and will now go to rest and in the evening they will have a short meeting with the management before starting work,” said Ally.

Simba SC, who are seeking to reclaim domestic dominance from rivals Young Africans and strengthen their performance in continental competitions, turned to Pantev for his winning record across Africa, including league titles in Botswana and Cameroon.

The Bulgarian faces immediate pressure to deliver results, with both local and continental fixtures fast approaching.
