The Media Officer of the Club, Mr Jude Agbeyeke in a statement said that the club was still adapting to the rigours of the NPFL after arriving Damaturu yesterday from Jos.

Mr Agbeyeke said the team had been on the road since early this week as they have to play three straight away matches which was a first for the Delta Ambassadors.

He however expressed optimism in the teams determination to return to Asaba with at least four points after being handed a four – one bashing by Nasarawa United last Wednesday at the Lafia City Stadium.

The image maker of the club averred that the players have started adapting to the new trend especially the heat in the north stressing that the game against bottom placed Yobe Desert Stars today in Damaturu promise to be a positive turn for the Asaba based outfit. The match is expected to kick off at four in the evening in spite of the blazing sun and searing heat.
