It was gathered further that, while several clubs in Spain reportedly expressed interest in the Nigerian-born midfielder, the only concrete offer that came his way was from Oviedo.
A report by Fichajes stated, “Alli has reportedly received offers from four La Liga clubs as he weighs his next move.
“Alli, 29, has been a free agent for the past five months following his release from Cesc Fabregas’ Como side back in September.
“The former Tottenham midfielder made just one appearance for Como, coming off the bench for the final eight minutes of their 2-1 defeat to AC Milan.
“Oviedo, Sevilla, Elche and Getafe are all reportedly keen on offering Alli yet another chance to revive his career.
“Oviedo are the most interested and were the first to reach out to Alli, as they seek a player with international experience to help save them from relegation.”
