Sports247 gathered that, though the 29-year-old Alli is currently clubless, after his release by Como of Italy in September, he is still highly regarded at Tottenham, where he spent seven years after arriving from MK Dons in 2015.

Heading into Sunday’s home fixture versus The Gunners, Spurs have now announced that Alli, who also played for Everton, will return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as a special guest during their North London Derby.

Alli will appear on the pitch at half-time and make a live speech in front of 62,000 fans, who will gather to watch Igor Tudor‘s first match in charge of Tottenham, as their new interim head coach.

“The position of the club in this moment is one that nobody can accept. Every Tottenham fan cannot accept this situation. We are aware of that. There is no time to find excuses,” Tudor admitted.
