This was the verdict of Lincoln’s sporting director, Jez George, following confirmation of the Nigerian-born central defender’s arrival at the English League One club from Bromley.
The 22-year-old Elerewe, who has made 23 appearances and scored four times in all competitions this season for League Two leaders Bromley, signed a deal that will run until the summer of 2029, with the option of an extra year.
Elerewe is now being tipped to bring wonders to Lincoln, who are currently second in League One with a six-point cushion for the automatic promotion places, and George is looking up to the Nigerian-born lad’s attributes.
The sporting director added, “Deji has outstanding physical attributes, an outstanding mentality and demonstrates all the behaviours that we value.
“We are really excited that we’ve convinced him that we are the right club for the next steps in his career as Deji has huge potential and a really high ceiling.”
