‘Defeat Is Part Of The Game, You Either Succumb Or Move On’, Meet Samuel Nsikwe Who Dreams To Follow Ighalo’s Footprint To Play For Man Utd

Having toiled to get to the finals of the King’s Cup Competition, 36 Lion FA lost out to Smart City in the penalty shoot out and now, Samuel Nsikwe, 36 Lions player has encouraged himself and his teammates to let go of the defeat and move on to that which is next as they still have a lot to play for.

“Defeat is part of the game regardless of how much you put into it as an individual, you either take it or move on, it’s a choice,” he spoke exclusively to Sports247.ng after the game.

“We lost the game but we put in a very good performance, it isn’t for us today but we will surely try again next time.”

“This tourney is a great one, we were actually prepared for this game but so unfortunate that we lost the finals.”

Odion Ighalo is the first Nigerian player to play for Manchester United with previous spells with Watford, he left for Saudi after the expiration of his loan deal in January.
