David Okereke Reveals Why He Won’t Be Returning To Club Brugge

Nigerian and Club Brugge of Belgium striker has revealed he won’t be returning to the club for the new season during his vacation period here in Nigeria.

The striker who was on loan at the Belgian side from Italian outfit, Venezia, scored seven times in 32 league games in Belgium and recorded an assist to his name but the striker revealed to Sports247 it wasn’t how he wanted his season to go.

“I had my plans for the season but I couldn’t achieve it. It wasn’t that bad, wasn’t what I expected but I’m still happy with how it ended,” David told Sports247.

The striker would first be returning to parent club Venezia for the start of the new season as his loan spell in Belgium comes to an end.

“No, I’m not returning to Club Brugge,” David said.

“I was supposed to have resumed training with them but I received a mail saying there’s no need since I’m under negotiation with other teams, so I’ll take my time,” he concluded.
