In fulfillment of One of the mandates of Minister of Youth and Sports Development Chief Sunday Dare to improve Infrastructure across the country, the Daura Township, the stadium is now wearing a new look courtesy of the intervention he brokered through *Chief Adebutu Kesington.
Prior to the rehabilitation, the Daura Township Stadium pitch was in a pathetic state and unfit for playing football as the soil base could not support and sustain the growth of grass.
All that has changed with the complete excavation of the old soil and refitting of the Daura Township Stadium.
Dare leveraged on the adoption model and got Sir Kesington to directly fund the repairs and upgrade. Nothing tells the story better than the old picture of how the Minister met it and how he has turned it into- a brand new astroturf pitch with a fence around it.
