A spirited second-half comeback from Dannaz Ladies secured a 2–1 victory over Sunshine Queens in the final fixture of NWFL Premiership Matchday 12, played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Sunshine Queens took the lead in the 23rd minute through Idika Chigozie, silencing the home crowd and putting the visitors in control for much of the first half.
However, Dannaz Ladies emerged stronger after the break, with Idris Ajoke turning the game around in emphatic fashion.
She netted the equaliser in the 63rd minute before completing the comeback with a well-taken winner in the 75th minute to hand her side maximum points in front of their home supporters.
The result capped off an action-packed matchday that produced goals, drama, and significant movements across the standings.
Elsewhere, Remo Stars Ladies were held to a 1–1 draw by Confluence Queens in Ikenne, while Delta Queens edged FC Robo Queens 3–2 in a thrilling encounter in Asaba.
In Ile-Ogbo, Abia Angels secured a narrow 1–0 away win against Osun Babes courtesy of Blessing Okon’s decisive strike.
One of the standout performances came in Yenagoa, where Bayelsa Queens delivered a dominant 5–0 victory over Naija Ratels, with Kesiena Ojiyovwi grabbing a brace.
In Lafia, Nasarawa Amazons and Ahudiyannem Queens played out a goalless draw, while Ibom Angels recorded a solid 3–1 win over Adamawa Queens in Uyo, inspired by a brace from Mariam Okocha.
Rivers Angels cruised to a 2–0 win against Pacesetter Queens in Port Harcourt, while Edo Queens defeated Ekiti Queens 2–0 in Benin City.
With Matchday 12 concluded, the race for Super Six qualification and survival continues to intensify, setting the stage for a dramatic run-in as the season progresses.
