Czech second-tier club FK Viagem Ústí nad Labem have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Solomon Osaghae on a two-year contract, with an option to extend for a third season.
Osaghae, 22, joins from FK Varnsdorf, where he made 43 appearances last season in the Czech National Football League, scoring two goals and providing five assists. His departure follows Varnsdorf’s relegation to the third tier.
Viagem, newly promoted to the second division, identified Osaghae as a key piece in their squad rebuild. The midfielder has already featured in preseason matches, including a recent friendly against FK Teplice.
Head coach Svatopluk Habanec praised Osaghae’s work ethic and tactical intelligence, noting that he brings needed creativity and energy to the midfield. “Solomon has great potential. We’re confident he will play an important role this season,” Habanec said.
FK Viagem Ústí nad Labem begin their 2025–26 league campaign on July 19.
