Cyriel Desser’s Proud Over First International Goal Despite Defeat Against Mexico

Super Eagles international, Cyriel Desser couldn’t hide his excitement after he bagged his first international goal against Mexico in the international friendlies.

With Peseiro at the helm of affairs, Desser’s made his first international start but goes away with a lot of pride after the goal despite the defeat.

He said, “Mexico vs Nigeria, couldn’t be more proud to score my 1st international goal,” on his official Twitter handle.

This goal comes after days he shot blank in the Conference League final against A.S. Roma as the Italian club won by a narrow one goal to nil.

Desser is expected to return back to Genk, his parent club where he was loaned out to Middlesbrough.

Up next for the Super Eagles is a match against Ecuador in which the striker will be looking forward to making another impact.
