CWFC 2.0: Bernard Otunola Talks Up Cornerwise Fight Championship, Promises Intriguing Bouts Amidst Plans To Keep Developing Boxing In Nigeria

Bernard Otunola, the chief executive officer of UnBoxx has given a foretaste of what fans should expect ahead of the second edition of the cornerwise Fight championship which is set to feature a host of professional boxers as plans to keep developing boxing in Nigeria progresses.

The CWFC 2.0 will hold at the Indoor Sports Hall, National Stadium, Surulere on July 8th as the countdown for the highly anticipated event begins.

According to the CEO and organizer of the bout, Bernard revealed that are plans are rightly in place for fans to see the best of boxing show in Nigeria.

“Everything is set for this event and the first even was bigger but we are making this edition more bigger and better.”

“Like it is often quoted that excellence is a journey, not a destination, this helps to improve from what we have during the first edition and we are trying to let people know that boxing is back in Nigeria, rebranded for the best of actions,” he explained.

“We have promoted this fight and in our own company, we are trying to make sure that every boxer have a platform to fight because that is the purpose of the game.”

“Now, we can assure the fans out there that they are going to enjoy the best of boxing, the boxers are good fighters. All of them that will be participating are professionals so you know what to expect from them.”

“It’s going to be one of the very best entertaining fight, we have promoters from outside the country who are also interested in this so that makes it a big one,” Otunola shared.

“This is one fight you need to come out and entertain yourself with, the date and venue is set and we are good to go,” he concluded.
