Managing Partner of Conerwise Entertainment, Otunola Bernard has disclosed that the upcoming CornerWise Fight Championships scheduled for 6th of Nov at the Indoor Sports Hall, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos will be ‘unusually special’ as he promises fans of highly entertaining fights accompanied with a lot of fireworks.
The CornerWise Fight Championships will see the likes of Sodiq Olaitan, Toyin Adejumola, Michael Ikechukwu, Samuel Moses, Hassan Kareem in action as they go up against thier respective opponents, Sports247.ng understands.
Bernard who was quiet certain of the publicity of the Championship isn’t bothered about it’s promotion revealing that there are a lot of factors to be considered keeping in mind the economic situation of the country.
“What I can say is, irrespective of the concept or the idea, boxing promotion is boxing promotion, be it small, medium or big.”
The UnBox CEO stated further, “It’s not easy to put together a boxing show especially in a country like Nigeria going by the current economic situation and all of that.”
“One thing is certain, we sure are going to wow our fans and we are going to give them boxing like never before,” he promised.
