After a balanced opening period, the visitors broke the deadlock in the 54th minute when Blessing Sunday calmly finished to give Confluence Queens a surprise lead. The goal shifted momentum firmly in favour of the Lokoja-based side, who grew in confidence as the game progressed.

Dannaz Ladies struggled to respond, and their situation worsened in the 65th minute when Seember Emmanuel doubled the advantage for the visitors, finishing clinically to put Confluence Queens in control of the contest.

As the hosts pushed forward in search of a lifeline, gaps opened up at the back. Confluence Queens capitalised deep into stoppage time, with Seember Emmanuel completing her brace in the 90+4 minute to seal a dominant performance and confirm all three points.

The result marks a significant turning point for Confluence Queens, who had failed to win in their opening five matches.

Although they remain at the bottom of Group B, the comprehensive victory represents a positive start to the second stanza of the season and could prove crucial in their push for survival and momentum going forward.

For Dannaz Ladies, the defeat highlights areas requiring urgent improvement as the NWFL Premiership campaign continues.
