Clubs Set For Battle As Dynasty League Kicks Off In Ijebu-Ode

Eight clubs would be at the battlefield in the forthcoming inaugural edition of Dynasty Scouting League scheduled to kick off on 18,May,2023 at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

The competition which would be played on every Thursday is being packaged by Dynasty Sports Limited and endorsed by Ogun State Ministry of Youths and Sports.

Among the eight selected clubs are Utility Sports FC Ijebu ode, Leal FC of Ijebu ode, Immaculate FC of Ijebu ode, Kakawa FC of Epe, Lagos, De Faria SC Lagos, Greatness FC of Iwo, osun, Ladegbuwa FC Ijebu ode and MKA FC of Ijebu ode.

Speaking with sports 247.ng, chairman organizing committee,Olaolu Onadipe said the Dynasty scouting league is designed to discover young talents that are marketable in Europe saying that teams were selected based on their football pedigree in their various states.

“This is first of its kind in Ijebu-Ode and entire Ogun State. Presently it is a talk of the town and teams are looking forward to the commencement of the league.

“The Dynasty league is not about winning at all cost but it is a platform where participating players would showcase their talents to the world. If our invited foreign football scouts show interest in one or two players, such players would be selected for trials in Europe for further assessment before signing,” he said.

Onadipe urged the club owners to see the league not a do or die affairs and admonished them to shun vices that can tarnish the image of the league.

He however said clubs that violate the rules would be disqualified and replace with a new club and wished all the teams all the best in their outings.
