CLUB FRIENDLY MATCH : REMO STARS HOLD 3SC

Positive reactions from the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC),of Ibadan, earned the team a pulsating 2-2 draw against Remo Stars in a friendly match decided at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

The encounter, brought out the best in the Oluyole Warriors as they have to put up a brave performnace in the second half, to force the visitors to a 2-2 draw, after going down 0-2 in the first half.

Remo Stars drew the first blood as early as the second minutes when an unmarked Robert Jaguar nodded home from a free kick, after the ball eluded the 3SC backline, leaving goalkeeper Dare Dede stranded.

Two minutes after the restart, the visitors, got the second goal in almost a similar manner.

A well taken corner kick, found Isah Alli in the vital area and he made no mistake in firing past goalkeeper Dede amidst sea of legs.

3SC took over proceedings thereafter, making many attempts to come back into the game but the visitors escaped their onslaughts to end the first 45 minutes

Expectedly,, the Edith Agoye led technical crew, made few changes to change the tide of the game, which eventually paid off with two beautiful goals from Akilu Muhammed and Najeem Olukokun, in the 69th and 75th minutes respectively.

The Ibadan soccer lords, will next Wednesday,, host Stationery Stores in another friendly match.
