Villareal and Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze has been included in the UEFA Europa League team of the week, Sports247 reports.
The best performing 11 players of the semi-final’s first leg was revealed on the official Europa League website.
In a 4-4-2 formation, Chukwueze is joined by Manchester United duo Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes with Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe completing the midfield four.
The 21-years old played a key role for Villarreal in their 2-1 win over Arsenal, setting up the first goal for the Spaniards after weaving his way through a couple of challenges.
His pace and direct dribbling caused the Premier League giants problems throughout.
Villarreal will take their 2-1 advantage heading into next Thursday’s return leg at the Emirates.
