Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwuezegot his name on the score sheet moments after coming on for Arnaut Danjuma in the 90th minute.
Samuel Chukwueze netted his maiden UEFA Champions League goal on his first appearance in the competition on Wednesday night in Villarreal’s 4-1 win away to Young Boys.
The Yellow Submarines dominated the game with Yeremi Pino, Gerard Moreno, and Alberto Moreno also on target for the visitors.
Chukwueze recently returned from an injury he picked up in last season’s Europa League semi-final clash against Arsenal, the competition which Villarreal later went on to win, beating Manchester United on penalties in the final.
Chukwueze made a cameo appearance for Villarreal in their 2-1 league defeat to Osasuna last Sunday. The 22-year-old would be looking to get more minutes under his belts when Villarreal travels to face Athletic Bilbao in La Liga this Saturday.
