Christian Obiozor joins Tunisian Club Stade Gabesien

Christian Obiazor who played Super 8 bet9ja for Gombe United as at last week with the hope of joining Gombe ahead of the new season in NPFL has put pen on paper for a modest Tunisia side.

Former Enyimba striker Christian Obiozor has joined Tunisian side Stade Gabesien on a two year deal Sports247.ng reports.

Obiozor has endured challenges as at when he was hit by injury in his career for the past three years and that has limited his appearance in the Nigeria Professional Football League where he was contracted to Enyimba.

Obiozor was signed after impressing the club during a short trial which bring his long wait to take his trade abroad to an end as he joins fellow compatriot Moses Orkuma and Samuel Atvati at the club.

He was just few details away from joining newly promoted NPFL team Gombe United before heading to Tunisia for the trials that has earned him a two year deal with Stade Gabesien and also put his career back on track.

It could be recalled that 24 year old Obiozor has a successful trials with South Africa side Orlando Pirates in 2017 but the move failed to materialize as Pirates failed to agree terms with Enyimba.
