Chelsea Want To End This Season By Winning FA Cup, Says Tosin Adarabioyo

Chelsea of England’s Nigerian-born defender, Tosin Adarabioyo has declared that he and his colleagues at The Blues want to end the current season by winning the English FA Cup as a consolation for falling short in the league.

Sports247 reports that, despite a chain of poor results that have bedeviled the London-based club in the English Premier League, they have reached the FA Cup semi-finals and Adarabioyo says they want to go all the way to the trophy.

The former Manchester City fringe-player got one of the goals in Chelsea’s 7-0 mauling of League One strugglers, Port Vale on Saturday, a result which the centre-back fondly called ‘Tosin’ declared has motivated The Blues to desire more victories.

Adarabioyo, who is still eligible to play for Nigeria at senior level but is patiently waiting for England’s call instead, is now looking up to The Blues’ FA Cup semi-final fixture and believes his team have what it takes to win the trophy itself.

“It’s the FA Cup and anything can happen. That’s the aim, we want to end the season with a trophy. Our aim is to get to the final and win the trophy. Very good, great to play some nice football.

“It’s been a two-week break now since our last games which didn’t go so well and we wanted to come back home and put a good result in and that’s what we did,” said Adarabioyo.

Sports247 gathered further that Adarabioyo’s Chelsea will now settle scores with Lukas Nmecha’s Leeds Unired in the semi-finals, while Samuel Edozie’s Southampton face Manchester City.
