Super Eagles B head coach, Eric Chelle, has declared that his side will be going all out for maximum points when they take on Sudan in their second Group B fixture at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Zanzibar.
Nigeria suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to defending champions Senegal in their opening match, leaving them in a must-win situation to keep their qualification hopes alive.

The clash against Sudan is scheduled for Tuesday at the Amman Stadium, with the Eagles under pressure to secure a positive result and avoid the risk of an early exit from the tournament.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Chelle emphasised the importance of securing victory.
“It’s a big game, it’s an important game (vs Sudan). We need to win tomorrow and after that we will see,” he said.
The Super Eagles will be hoping for a more clinical display after struggling to convert their chances against Senegal.
Tactical adjustments are also expected as Chelle looks to inspire his side to their first points of the campaign.
The CHAN competition is reserved exclusively for players plying their trade in their country’s domestic leagues, serving as a platform for emerging talents to shine on the continental stage.
Nigeria, a two-time finalist in the tournament, will be aiming to reignite their campaign and keep their quarter final hope alive with a crucial win over Sudan.
