The tennis courts at Package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja are buzzing with excitement as players from across Nigeria gather for the 47th edition of the CBN Open Tennis Championship.

The prestigious national tournament has attracted top talents from different states, all aiming to secure places in the highly competitive main draws.
In the men’s category, 128 players are competing in the qualifying rounds, with only 16 spots available for the Main Draw of 64 players.
The women’s qualifiers feature 32 players battling for eight places in the Main Draw of 32 players.
The men’s event will be decided across three qualifying rounds, while the women’s category will feature two qualifying rounds.
The championship continues to provide a major platform for discovering and showcasing some of Nigeria’s finest tennis talents, while also promoting the growth of the sport across the country.
