Captain Bameyi Commends Fighting Spirit After Resounding Benin Bash

Flying Eagles captain Daniel Bameyi has hailed the team’s determination and mental strength following their emphatic 4-1 comeback win over Benin Republic in the WAFU-B U-20 Championship.

Nigeria fell behind to a 24th-minute free-kick by Benin’s Junior Olugbade, but the Eagles equalised through Mohammed Abdullahi before halftime and took control in the second half with three more goals.
