Camtel Int’l B/Volleyball: Nigeria teams meet Cameroon in Semifinals

Nigeria Beach Volleyball teams will meet Cameroon in the Semifinals of the male and female categories at the ongoing Camtel International Championships in Yaoundé.

The male national team beat Congo DR 21-17, 21-14; Central Africa, 21-11, 21-11 and Cameroon 21-9, 21-13 topping their group

The female national team defeated Cameroon 28-14 and Congo DR 28-13, 28-17.

The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod charged the players to return to the country with the gold medals.

He called on the Beach volleyball teams to give joy to the country’s teeming volleyball lovers by lifting the trophy in Cameroon.

He said: “It is important that we win in Yaoundé in order to fly with the same momentum to Tunisia various tournaments next year.

“I promise to continue to support the growth of the beach volleyball within and outside the country. My aim is to see Nigeria appear at the World Championships next year”.
