Sports247 reports that Mrs Ojora gave the expression of hope in response to the presentation of five CAF branded balls to the school by a delegation led by Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) assistant secretary-general, Kayode Okunoye.
The delegation, which also had the leader of Badagry Football Coaches Council, Steven Degboe, among other stakeholders, made the presentation on the last lap of CAF’s schools development programme in the state.
While receiving the gifts on behalf of the school, which also serves as the traditional venue of annual Oba Akran Community Football Championship, the principal added that the gesture will uplift the students’ enthusiasm for sports.
Ojora stated gleefully, “We are delighted to receive this generous donation from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), via the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA).
“The initiative will certainly uplift our students and improve our football development programme. We are also grateful for the contribution of CAF, NFF and LSFA in advancing football development in Lagos State.”
She concluded with a prophetic declaration that the school will gain more strides in football through the donation, adding: “We anticipate the ongoing collaboration to cultivate our students’ talents.”
