CAF president Patrice Motsepe has confirmed that each team participating in CAF club competitions will receive $100,000, a first in the confederation’s history.
The payment aims to help with transport, logistics, and minor expenses, ensuring all teams, including those previously excluded, can participate without financial strain.

“This development ensures fairness and support for all clubs,” Motsepe explained.
The initiative represents a milestone in CAF’s effort to professionalize club competitions and support African football development.
