Rivers United of Port Harcourt are bound to face a spirited battle when they face RSC Berkane of Morocco in their second match of the group stage of this year’s CAF Champions League, as the captain of the North African club, Munir Mhamdi says they will play with strength and passion.
Sports247 gathered that Berkane are scheduled to visit Port Harcourt on November 30th, but Mhamdi is already talking tough and stressed that the Moroccan outfit will hit the Rivers State capital with their full intensity.

While acknowledging that no team in Group A will be easy to fly over, Mhamdi averred that Berkane will play with unity, coherence, passion and the zeal to satisfy their teeming fans whose support is always unrelenting during each game.
Mhamdi told cafonline: “We are extremely happy because the entire city of Berkane had been eagerly waiting for this moment.
“We are well aware we will be facing some of the best teams in Africa, and we know the competition will be tough, but we enter this stage with great optimism and positivity.
“We will fight with everything we have until the very end to achieve our goals, honour the club’s name, and bring joy to our fans and the entire city of Berkane.
