Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has praised Victor Osimhen, describing the Nigerian striker as a true team player whose impact goes beyond scoring goals.
Speaking on Osimhen’s influence since joining the club, Buruk highlighted the forward’s work rate, selflessness and overall contribution to the team’s style of play.

“Victor is a great player and, more importantly, a great team player,” Buruk said. “While many strikers focus only on scoring, Osimhen plays for the team. He presses, he runs, he links play and helps everyone around him.”
The Galatasaray boss added that Osimhen’s all-round game has had a positive effect on the squad, both tactically and mentally.
“His attitude lifts the entire team,” Buruk noted. “He sets the tone with his commitment and energy, and that is very important for us.”
