Following the re-branding process of the academy which began on 1st July with the launching of the new academy logo that conveys several messages including the academy’s connection to its native land, its respect for its grassroots, the type of activity the club is involved into and also indicates the nurturing and development of a collection of great stars in running, basketball, Cycling, table tennis, lawn tennis and footballing which is currently the major focus of the academy.
The academy hereby unveils the new jersey to get set for the task ahead once the government hits the green button on contact sports reopening.
The new jersey comes in sky blue which signifies self confidence and white color that signifies unity, the jersey portrays the logo of the academy’s Life Matron Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi – the General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church who has been a pillar of support for the academy and the teeming youth playing a significant role being a philanthropic gesture coupled with a genuine love for sports.
Also, the Academy Life Patron His Imperial Majesty Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ile – Ife has been a good royal father to the academy partnering the drive to global rejuvenation.
He has been described as an ‘astute entrepreneur driven by the need to turn impossibilities into possibilities. Oba Ogunwusi is the spiritual leader of the Yoruba people now saddled with the responsibility of making supplications to God and the Orisa on behalf of his tribe and the world at large during annual festivals such as Olojo
Fuji Maestro Alh. Abass Akande Obesere Agbaakin Abobagunwa of Yorubaland, the Academy Chairman Board of Trustee is a man of high integrity and has been a source of inspiration and motivation to the player’s overtime rekindling their energy to give their best to excel and triumph in their choosing field.
