BURUJ TO TEST YOBO FC FOR SIZE IN FRIENDLY GAME ON THURSDAY -After Sunshine Game On Tuesday At Gbagada Youth Development Centre.

As they intensify their preparation for their upcoming trip to the United Kingdom, Buruj Sports Academy are set to play two friendly games this week to put the players in right shape for the task ahead.

 

While the first of the two friendlies will hold Tuesday (today) inside the Gbagada Youth Development Centre versus Sunshine Football Academy, the top of the bill game will be against Yobo FC, being bankrolled by former Super Eagles player Yobo Joseph.

The match against the lower league side Yobo FC will take place at Cappa-Oshodi playing field by 7.00 am on Thursday and while previewing both games, the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, disclosed that he and his management and technical team are not ready to leave any stone unturned in their bid to prepare a strong team that can face all comers during the tournaments and sell themselves to the watching scouts.

He also promised that his boys will give Yobo FC a good game despite their experience of being playing in the league. He said the Sunshine game which will hold on Tuesday (today) will also serve as preparatory game ahead the tie against Joseph Yobo’s team.

He adds that following their performance against Handsworth Academy, the boys will be ready to up their game as all of them want to prove their mettle to be considered for the starting role.

“We are ready to face both Sunshine and Yobo on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. All these games are being organised to build a strong team and prepare the boys very well. Particularly, the game againat Yobo FC will be tough but our boys are motivated to face them.”

“We have corrected the lapses against Handsworth, and hopefully before our departure for the Super Cup in the United Kingdom, we should be okay,” he said.
