BURUJ SPORTS ACADEMY WALOP BROWL F.C 4 : 2 IN IDFA LEAGUE MATCH

Buruj Boys ignites great passion in celebration of Valentines Day through their victory against Browl F.C after losing five (5) chances.

It was no less than we deserved, Buruj Boys making most of the running, creating the better chances, and looking dangerous for the majority of this pulsating encounter, save for a damaging five-minute period in the first half.

Gideon Usulor gave Buruj Boys the lead from a good placing in 35minutes, his fierce shot was goalbound.

Browl F.C scored their equalizing goal in the 40mins of the match.

The first half ended in 1 – 1.

The second half was opened with Buruj Sports Academy substituting Gideon Usulor (out) for Dappa Das (in) an attacking mid-fielder age 11.

Browl F.C scoring their second goal aftermath they committed a foul via hand-picking of the ball resulting in a penalty which was well taken by Chidera Amuji in the earliest minutes.

During the 85minutes Buruj Boys were seemingly in charge of the game as Ridwan Yusuf laced up and seal another fantastic goal which is a memorable victory for the team. We were good value for the lead. He celebrated his winning goal by pulling off his jersey which was well acknowledged by the spectators, this act resulted in a yellow card from the referee.

Buruj Goal Keeper Edet Inyang conceded a Red Card in the 85mins of the game due to gross misconduct. This made the team played 10 against 11 when James Acha was converted to a Goal Keeper with a clean sheet. Edet will be missing the next match.

Once again we showed tremendous character to bounce on Browl F.C in the second half, levelling with another superb finish from Ignatius Akuba resulting to the fourth goal after Browl F.C Goal Keeper committed a foul against Skipper Noah Salaudeen.

The central referee blows the final whistle to the end of the match.

Buruj Sports Academy Skipper Noah Salaudeen said “The game was a turf one although we had many chances at the beginning of the game which we failed to convert to the goal. I would like to give kudos to my teammates for their courage fighting in unity to achieve the desired result. Up! Buruj Sports Academy”

The Head Coach Fatai Aminu said ” Frankly speaking the players played according to the game plan, they showcase what they were taught at training which is resounding merit to the team. Moreso the substitution of Dappa Das, David Akiti changed the game to mount in our victory”
