Buruj Sports Academy will have their tails up during the third group stage game holding at Landmark College by 3pm
The team will on Wednesday meet Divine FC in their third/ penultimate group stage match in the Ikorodu Divisional Football Association League, the results will determine the next line of action.
According to the CEO Salaudeen Waheed he posited that “Much actions has been taken in the training sessions for the week to correct noticeable lapses in the players performance at previous matches most pertinently when they met with Jesus Link FC on Saturday, the centre-backs had a few through-passes intercepted and opted instead for the long diagonal balls, and the defence line was often isolated which had made us loss the three big chances created, hope the defenders, strikers, midfielder and Goal Keeper will stick to the formation and give out their best for team.”
As with the recent reviews, there is likely to be a ferocious intensity to Buruj boys pressing for the opening 20 minutes, and possibly a weariness towards the end, as they have been outscored by opponents over the last games.
The coaching crew has already made a few tweaks to the teams approach.
They have asked their front three to stay high and press consistently to keep attacking, full-backs occupied so team his defence can stand higher upfield. One aspect they will look to improve is the team’s efficiency in front of goal.
