BURUJ SPORTS ACADEMY TEST MATCH AGAINST GABI FC ENDED 1:2

The friendly match was fixed to ascertain the players readiness for their second league match

Gabi FC boys were mounting pressure in the first half with their accurate mobility. Their first goal was a penalty kick committed by James Acha in nearly 33mins of the match.

During the second half after the interval, Gabi FC intended to continue coming forward but we were solid, compact and disciplined in the face of their constant attacking pressure.

In the course of the game there was a penetrating pass from the midfield by Austine Samson to the Skipper Noah Salaudeen who committed the Gabi FC defender in the Eighteen yard box, but was hacked down resulting to a penalty against the opponent which was brilliantly converted to a goal by Austine Samson

The tension inside the ground continued to rise as we entered the final 10 minutes, with Golden Ukaoma coming so close to doubling our advantage with a swivel and shot on the edge of the area.

Buruj Boys were rocking in the second half Gabi FC failed responding to the work-rate and aggression the team were displaying, and one sweeping move forward had the crowd off their feet.
