Buruj Sports Academy Chairman Celebrates Birthday In Style …Tasks Sports Ministry, NFF, Stakeholders Commitment On Grassroots Development

Waheed Salaudeen, Buruj Sports Academy Chairman has sent out his appreciation messages to fans, well-wishers who has taken out time to celebrate him on the special occasion of his birthday while also canvassing and imploring deliberate committments from the sports ministry, NFF, organized football bodies in developing grassroots football within the country.

Salaudeen began with a shout out to well wishers, “firstly, I will like to thank everyone that has been congratulating me although there are so many calls that have not been able to pick, thousands of calls from several peope, I pray that the shouts of joy will not cease from thier home.”

“I also want to specially thank my wife who has always been there for me, Alhaji Obesere who is one of our patrons, Mama Esther Ajayi, the Matron and every major stakeholder for thier support, not forgetting the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for recognising us as a body to be beneficiary of thier proposed assistance.”

“This is a new begining in my life and the academy inclusive, I want to ask the NFF, major Stakeholders for more support for all academies in Nigeria because it has been rcently discovered that the rate of developing and producing talents has drastically gone down, with more supports, more players will be produced for the leagues and even abroad,” he allayed.

“The sports ministry really deserves all the applause we can give, subsequently, I beleive they can do more. Football can create a lot of employments for youths, just imagine the number of staff members, medical crew, technical know- how that will be employed by a team playing in the league is such a massive means of income. Having close to 25 homegrown players playing for various club in the Nigerian league is such an enormous development, going forward, I know the ministry will keep pushing,” he concluded.
