Bukayo Saka’s Parents Recall Arsenal Star’s Humble Beginning

The parents of Arsenal winger, Bukayo Saka have sent their son a deeply emotional letter that recalls his humble beginning as a tender kid who dreamt about becoming a football star.

Sports247 gathered that the emotional accolades were contained in a personal letter written to Saka by his mum and dad, who recounted how he constantly told them about his football dream while growing up.

The very symbolic flashback letter comes from the proud parents, Yomi and Adenike Saka, a few days after their son signed a new contract with Arsenal, which is reportedly worth a mammoth £300,000-per-week.

Saka’s new deal, which should keep him at Emirates Stadium for another five years, makes him The Gunners’ highest earning player ever, and his celebration was enhanced by an epistle from his parents.

The letter confirmed that Saka’s parents were overflowing with pride for their son, as they recalled: “From the very first days you kicked a ball around the house and in the park, we could see the joy it brought to you.

“What we couldn’t have known then is just how far your joy, combined with your dedication and faith, could take you. You have never forgotten your values, faith, or people who have supported you along the way.

“That means more to us than any goal, trophy, or contract ever could. Remember, success is not measured only in achievements, but in character.

Bukayo, enjoy this journey. Keep being the example to many young people who look up to you.”
