Sports247.ng can report that Wright is so excited that Saka is on his path to greatness so early in his career, and congratulated the England U19 star on his Premier League debut.

Wright, who made top marks with various goals scoring records during his heyday with The Gunners, went on to forecast greater things ahead of Saka, who he believes has a great future ahead of him at Arsenal.

Wright stated on social media: ”Congratulations on your @premierleague debut @BukayoSaka87.

”A very special moment for you and your family. Hard work to come but enjoy tonight with your loved ones❤️.”
On his part, Saka admitted he was excited to make his EPL debut in a 4-1 win over Fulham on Tuesday evening at Emirate Stadium, rather than in last Saturday’s 5-1 humiliation by Liverpool at Anfield.

The 17-year-old winger got off The Gunners’ bench to replace Alex Iwobi in the 83rd minute and became the first player born in 2001 to make an appearance in the English top-flight.

Saka, who had previously made two appearances in the Europa League and has represented England at youth levels, acknowledged that he has to keep working harder in order to make his mark in the coming years.

Saka admitted. “Right now I’m feeling so happy. I feel blessed to have made my debut and get minutes on the pitch.
“I just want to thank my family, my friends and everyone at the club who’s helped me to get to this stage.

“It’s been a tough stage, a long stage, but through hard work and determination I managed to get here.

“I’m not stopping now. I’m very hungry. I just want to work hard with every chance I get.

“In training, I just want to impress the coach so I can get back on the pitch.”
