Arsenal of England tactician, Mikel Arteta has ruled out the possibility of an impending exit by Bukayo Saka, as he believes the in-form winger is ‘comfortable’ at Emirates Stadium.
Sports247 gathered that, as suspense and speculations continue regarding a contract extension by the Nigerian-born England international, Arteta stressed that Saka will surely stay put.

He used the opportunity of previews for this weekend’s London derby away to Chelsea to address Saka’s issue once again and assured The Gunners’ fans about the lad’s commitment to their team.
Arteta further pointed out that, with Arsenal appearing so far this season to have their brightest chance of winning the English Premier League in a long while, Saka should surely feel eager to make history with the side.
As it was in last week’s derby home win against Tottenham Hotspur, Saka will again be expected to lead the charge for Arsenal away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Sunday.
Arteta is also of a view that the excitement of being a key member of the squad chasing EPL history would make Saka keen on sealing a contract extension in the coming days.
“He feels very comfortable here. He wants to stay where he belongs and achieve everything we want together,” said Arteta, who happens to be a former captain of the team.
The Spanish tactician, however, added that he leaves the task of Arsenal reaching an agreement with Saka down to The Gunners’ sporting director, Andrea Berta, as the Nigerian-born star’s current deal ends in the summer of 2027.
